Twins Win In Extra Innings!

After 11 innings of hard work, the Minnesota Twins pull off a great, exciting victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. It was another low-scoring game, 3-2, but extra-inning victories such as these make games with little scoring well worth it. Crede's double to finish it sure made up for the lack of offensive performance that filled the rest of the game.

Late-inning comebacks have always been and hopefully will always be a Minnesota Twins baseball trademark. This is what baseball is all about, doing the little things with not that large of a budget to pull off exciting wins. This not only energizes the team, but also the fans and all those involved in the Minnesota Twins franchise.

Glen Perkins' nearly flawless pitching performance was extremely comforting as well. He pitched eight wonderful innings, giving up only 2 runs. The bullpen did a great job as well, holding the Blue Jays to those only two runs that Perkins gave up.

Boosts like these could send the Twins into one of their unstoppable streaks. You never know what one game can start.
