I can hear the grumbling all ready. As the Twins finally get home, we still have some unanswered questions. Who’s the DH?, who’s going to play 3rd base?, Is Rauch ok as a closer? After what I saw this afternoon, I don’t think we have anything to worry about. The Twins didn’t play particularly well today, but they are now the intimidating team, not the intimidated. What’s going to happen when they finally play really good! We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg with how good this team is going to be, but you have to remember it’s a long season, and we’re still in the beginning. That’s not to say that things could go horribly wrong, injuries personal problems, and a host other things, but let’s not look that far ahead. The Twins are 5-2 and haven’t even played a home game. Let’s stay positive, but cautious. New team, new stadium, new outlook.
Twins are even better than that so far...5-2.
ReplyDeleteWithout any injuries I see this becoming a very special season. We have solid pitching, can hit home runs, have a solid middle infield... Look out American League the Twins are on a mission.
